It is reported that Pangang Group Chengdu Steel & Vanadium Co Ltd has started the productions of X70 high grade pipeline steel and X80 C-Mn series pipeline steel in late 2008.

As per report, at present, the batch trial production of X70 high grade pipeline steel has passed the anti corrosion monitoring in different pressure environments with the overall pass percentage of 100%, which confirmed the control parameters of X80 C-Mn pipeline steel production.
