Sichuan Daily reported that a world advanced high speed wire rod line was proven successful in its test run November 18th in Southwest China based Pangang Group Chengdu Steel & Vanadium Co Ltd.

According to the report, the line was invested CNY 390 million and will double its annual output from common production line to 500,000 tonnes by introducing technology and equipments from Italy and Sweden.

This is the first world top ranked high speed wire rod line in Soughwest China. Compared with common wire rod, high speed wire rod can be more widely used in auto, hoisting apparatus and all linear metals.
