Praxair Investment Co Ltd has signed a combustion equipment contract with Shandong Guangfu Group Co Ltd to implement the Praxair proprietary oxy fuel technology for this new customer one of the leading steel and iron enterprises in Shandong province, North China.

Compared with the conventional lance systems, Praxair technology enables the customers in steel and non-ferrous metal industries to experience improved operation safety and environmental protection, cost saving and increased productivity.

Under the contract, one set of Praxair gas injection system including three oxygen gas injectors and other related equipment will be installed at the 100-ton electric arc furnace of the steel mill of Shandong Guangfu Group.
