Shagang Group rolled steel exports exceed 2 million tonnes in 2011

Major Chinese steel producer Shagang Group has announced that up to mid-December its total exports of rolled steel products in 2011 exceeded 2 million tonnes equal to USD 1.58 billion in value rising by 3.3% YoY and 26%YoY.
In 2011, Shagang developed 51 new high value-added steel products, including rod, hot rolled plate, wide and thick plate, silicon steel, and line pipe.
