It is reported that the steel pipe plant of Shagang have received oil well tube orders from China National Petroleum Corporation providing 400 tonnes of X65 and X70 steel pipe for national key projects. This is another breakthrough for Shanggang pipe plant after entering into international oil and gas pipe markets as Iran and Russia.

It is learnt that the high quality bars and wire rod produced by Shagang are widely applied to national railway, high buildings, bridges, etc. And its pipeline steel plate was chosen by the West-East natural gas transmission project.

Up to now, Shagang’s bars, wire rod, plates, pipes and other products have been used in national key projects.
