China Metallurgical News reported that Jiangsu-based Shagang has realized iron smelting output of 15.3 million tonnes up by 7.5%YoY, steel making output of 18.35 million tonnes up by 3.3%YoY and 16.79 million tonnes of rolled products up by 5.9%YoY respectively, with the annual sales incomes surpassing CNY 100 billion.

In order to realize profit growth, the company focused on three sectors as follows:

1. To start full stream production to ensure products orders, especially speeding up high value added fine quality wire rod, rebar and pipeline steel production.

2. To create new operation mechanism to widen market covering rate.
