It is expected that Shagang will restart production of 1700mm HR product line on January 7 2012. 1450mm product line has been back to normal production.

It is learned that Shagang has produced 11.07 million tonnes of HR products in 2010, an increase of 600,000 tonnes compared with the target set earlier this year.

Moreover, the company will start up maintenance on 1700mm HR product line during January 21-28, 2012 for lack of semi-finished products, which might reduce daily production by 13,000 tonnes.
