It is reported that Chinese steelmaker Shougang Group has stated that in the first 11 months of 2011 it sold 4.18 million tonnes of cold rolled steel products increasing by 44%YoY.

In the January to November period of last year, cold rolled electro-galvanized steel for application in household appliances accounted for 34.6% of all Shougang Group CR product sales up by 2.5%YoY.

As per report, it is expected that sales of steel sheet used in household appliances and special steel plates of Shougang Jingtang and Shougang Cold Rolled Sheet Steel Co will reach 1.5 million tonnes in 2011 exceeding the original target for the whole year by 440,000 tonnes.
