Coal coking branch of Shuicheng Steel Co with its parent Shougang, announced Tuesday that its coke production exceeded 4,000 tonnes per day.

The company said it was making its final push to achieve the annual target of 1.15 million tonnes in 2011 and succeeded with daily coke production of 4,036 tonnes on December 20.
