Shougang has announced price reductions for parts of cold rolled steel by between CNY 100 a tonne and CNY 250 a tonne for shipments in January 2012. While the EXW price of 1.0 mm SPCC cold rolled coil remains at CNY 4,400 a tonne that of 1.0 mm SPCC full hard coil will be cut by CNY 250 a tonne to CNY 3,920 a tonne and that of 1.0 mm St01Z galvanized coil will be lowered by CNY 100 a tonne to CNY 4,610 a tonne.
