It is reported that North China based Shougang Group has pulled up December prices for medium plate from November levels.

Prices have been elevated as follow

1. Common carbon shipbuilding plate A/B/D grade, high carbon shipbuilding plate A32/D32/A36/D36 grade by CNY 55 per tonne

2. Q235C, Q345C, Q345E, Q390, boiler plate, vessel plate and US standard vessel plate by CNY 205 per tonne

3. Common carbon plate and low alloy plate by CNY 200 per tonne

4. High strength plate Q550/SQ550, bridge building plate 16Mnq/Q345qC/Q370qC/Q420qC by CNY 55 per tonne

5. Pipeline steel, high strength plate Q690 and other bridge-building plate by CNY 50 per tonne

6. CCSA 15mm to 25mm shipbuilding plate latest EXW price is CNY 4,150 per tonne

7. Q235B 20mm plate by CNY 3,900 per tonne
