China Metallurgical News reported that Shougang Sales Co lately inked 2009 to 2010 steel plates supplying contract with Shanghai Electric Group Co Ltd and won the priority of supplying.

The company lately submitted public bids for the plate demand of its 11 subsidiaries such as Shanghai Boiler Works, Shanghai Steam Turbine Plant, Shanghai Heavy Machinery Plant and Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator Co. At last, Shougang defeated the other rivals and its 6 specs of products became the preferred ones.

Shanghai Electric is one of China largest mechanical and electrical equipment design and manufactory enterprises and a big medium plate consumer in East China.
