It is reported that Shouqin Company under Shougang successfully developed 150mm ultra-heavy steel plates for hydropower sector lately and realized the batch production.

The thickness of the new product reached 150mm, the top grade in China.

In early 2009, the company churned out 80mm steel plates for pressure pipe in hydropower station. The product was applied in Yazui River Hydropower Station and Guandi Hydropower Station.
