Sinochem Group won exploration rights for five oil and gas blocks in the central northern region of the Peruvian Amazon.

Colombia National Oil Company and Spain Repsol jointly won exploration rights for four oil and gas blocks in the same area through a joint venture.

Mr Daniel Saba president of Peru state owned Perupetro said that oil and gas blocks in the area will attract at least USD 700 million in investments for Peru.
