Interfax-China reported that Sinohydro Corporation, China largest hydropower project developer will build a hydropower plant along Nepal Tamakosh River.

As per report, the plant will have a total installed capacity of 456 megawatts and will be able to generate 2.28 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per year when it goes into operation.

Sinohydro said that construction of the CNY 1.285 billion plant will be completed by the beginning of 2015. At that time the plant will be Nepal largest.
