It is reported that Sinopec Pipeline Storage and Transport Corporation under China Petrochemical Corporation, the parent company of Sinopec transported 77.74 million tonnes of crude oil in the first three quarters.

Sinopec Pipeline Storage and Transport Corporation manage CPC’s 37 pipelines which span a total length of 6,126 kilometers. Its oil storage capacity is 23.56 million cubic meters.

In 2009, the company transmitted nearly 90 million tonnes of crude oil. Sinopec Pipeline Storage and Transport Corporation are expected to pump through another 100 million tonnes of crude oil this year accounting for nearly a half of CPC total crude oil processing volume.
