It is reported that South Korean importers have almost ended their HRC import orders from China with a price of USD 460 per tonne to USD 480 per tonne CFR for December shipments.

Industry insiders said that it is not workable to import any resources in the end of this year as for the present downward HRC price and possibly falling Chinese steel price.

They added that "It is much better to purchase HRC from POSCO, Hyundai Steel and Dongbu Steel right now."
