North China: the ex works price of common carbon billet and 20MnSi billet in Tangshan, Hebei province, stabilized at CNY 3,270 per tonne and CNY 3,390 per tonne respectively.

In Shanxi's Linfen, the ex works price of common carbon gained CNY 10 per tonne to CNY 3,210 per tonne while that in Henan's Anyang was flat at CNY 3,300 per tonne.

Northeast China: the ex works price of common carbon billet in both Liaoyang and Anshan remained unchanged at CNY 3,280 per tonne.

East China: the ex works price of 20MnSi billet in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, was assessed unchanged at CNY 3,450 per tonne while that of common carbon billet in Zibo, Shandong province, increased CNY 10 per tonne to CNY 3,340 per tonne.

South China: the ex works price of 20MnSi billet in Guangdong and Fujian held steady at CNY 3,480 per tonne and CNY 3,520 per tonne respectively.

Summary: China semis prices remained generally stable with slight increase seen in certain regions. The market inventory showed modest rise this week on insipid trading of finished steel products. In the short term, semis market prices will remain range bound.
