According to Gansu Economic Daily, the opening ceremony of the foundation of steel structure construction project with annual output of 0.1 million tonnes launched by Baye steel structure industry Co Ltd was held in Wuwei Industrial Park on November 15th.

The 0.1 million tonnes project covers construction land of over 200 acres, with total investment of CNY 0.16 billion.

It will be operated in two phases. The first phase will be started in Nov. 2010 and be put into production in May 2011 to create value of CNY 0.36 billion and 600 positions to 800 positions, the second phase will be started in May 2011 and be put into production in October 2011.

As per report, Wuwei Baye Steel Structure Industry Co Ltd which is integrated with design, manufacturing and installation was invested to build by China Baye Construction Group Co Ltd. The No.4 Metallurgical Construction Company of China Limited, Jinchuan Group Engineering Construction Co Ltd, Lanzhou University of Technology and Wuwei Economic Development and Investment Co Ltd.
