It is reported that Shandong Xinneng Taishan Power Generation recorded a loss of CNY 8.69 million in 2010.

Revenue fell 0.21%YoY to CNY 2.76 billion. Taishan Power completed power generation volume of 5.76tWh last year an increase of 4.96%YoY.

On-grid power generation volume increased 7.91%YoY to 5.36tWh last year. The gross margin of its power generation business fell 4.94 percentage points YoY to 0.48% last year due to the higher cost of coal.

The company reported a loss of CNY 68.67 million in the first quarter, with loss per share of CNY 0.0795. It forecasts a loss in the first half of CNY 120 million to CNY 180 million.
