Tangshan City finished 2011 backward capacity washout target

An official from Tangshan city revealed that they have washed out 1.63 million tonnes of iron-making backward capacity as of November, taking up 17% of the total volume in Hebei province and 5.2% of our national plan for 2011.
Meanwhile, this city closed down 10.32 million tonnes of backward steel-making capacity, running up to 64%of the total volume in Hebei province and 36.9% of the planned volume in China.
