Securities Daily reported 30 steel companies in Tangshan city, which account for 10% of national steel production have been instructed to keep their monthly crude steel production volume under 3.56 million tonnes from September to December, 46.5% lower than the average production of the first 8 months this year.

Their total annual crude steel production volume in 2010 will be restrained under 67.5 million tonnes.
