
China Knowledge quoted Mr Takanori Yokoi spokesperson of Toyota China said Japanese auto giant Toyota Motor Corp saw its China sales declined 5% YoY to 78,400 units last month.
In July 2011, Toyota saw its China sales rebounded to 82,500 units after it suffered a three-month recession caused by Japan earthquake in March 2011.
This is the second time Toyota saw its China sales reduced this year. In January 2012, the Japanese automaker's China sales dropped 26.2% YoY due to week-long Lunar New Year holiday.
In the first seven month of this year, Toyota sold a total of 520,800 autos in China, reflecting a YoY increase of 19.2%.
The automaker aims its China sales to reach 1 million units in 2012.
