US DOC sets duties on Chinese steel cylinders
It is reported that US Department of Commerce has made its preliminary determination in the case against high pressure steel cylinders from China setting countervailing duty rates at 22.34%.
However, before the duty is implemented the International Trade Commission must find that US producers were harmed by the Chinese imports. Chinese imports of the steel cylinders jumped from USD 29 million in 2009 to USD 49 million in 2010.
