According to reports from Siemens Industry Sector, Industry Automation & Drive Technologies Divisions, the first production line of Anshan Steel's grain oriented silicon steel project to which Siemens Factory Automation Engineering Ltd provided 95 control cabinets has passed final inspection.

With total investment of CNY 5.7 billion, Anshan Steel silicon steel project is scheduled with annual output of 260,000 tonnes. Construction of the total four production lines started in June 2008 and is expected to be completed in 2010.

SFAE successfully won control cabinet supply contract for all the four lines. The company has provided 95 cabinets to the first line and participated in electrical equipments debugging.

The remaining three lines will be finished soon.
