According to China Metallurgical Group Corporation, one of its subsidiaries, WISDRI (Wuhan) WIS Industrial Furnace Company signed an equipment supply contract with Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Company.

According to the agreement, WISDRI (Wuhan) WIS Industrial Furnace will supply equipment for the continuous decarburizing and annealing line and magnesium oxide coating line at WISCO's silicon steel plant, as well as equipment for a hot skin-pass line.

WISCO is upgrading equipment at its silicon steel plant as part of its strategy to increase the competitiveness of its silicon steel products.
