China Metallurgical News reported that Wuhan Steel made high performance non-oriented silicon steels made great contribution to China second phase construction of Beijing Electron Positron Collider.

The silicon steel was used to produce magnet, one of the core devices in BEPCⅡ. And Wuhan Steel undertook the whole supply of the non oriented silicon steel which won high praise from Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

As per report, Wuhan Steel monopolized the material supply so far in China’s high energy physics sector and the export to the sectors in Japan, Korea and German.
