It is reported that Qinghai Province-based Chinese steelmaker Xining Special Steel Co in 2011 its sales revenue reached CNY 8.1 billion up by 14.8%YoY while its total net profit amounted to CNY 530 million up by 66%YoY.

Xining Special Steel total industrial production value last year amounted to CNY 9 billion up by 14.45%YoY. While Xining Special Steel possesses considerable coking coal and iron ore resources, its annual finished steel output capacity of just 1.2 million tonnes has slowed down its development.
