According to China Metallurgical Group Cooperation, Hebei Province based Chinese steelmaker Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes started to dry the 1,080 m³ blast furnace at its Hejing Special Steel Program in China Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region.
Construction of the blast furnace project has been carried out by 20 China Metallurgical Group Co a subsidiary of MCC.
