Reportedly, Xinyu Steel’s quenched and tempered high strength steel plates of EQ43, EQ56, EQ70 for super heavy ship and oceaneering use got approved by American Bureau of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas and China Classification Society recently.

Xinyu Steel has been the first supplier of 420mm continuous casting EQ70 steel plate for super heavy ship and oceaneering use in China, with maximum thickness of 115 mm. Meanwhile the company accessed to the Western Europ market successfully with super heavy steel plates for ocean platform use.
