It is reported that Jiangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Xinyu Iron and Steel Group iron ore pellet ore output totalled 1.15 million tonnes in the first 11 months of the current year. Based on this figure, Xinyu Steel iron ore pellet output for the whole of 2011 is expected to hit 1.27 million tonnes.

Xingu Steel added that its output of iron ore pellets in seven of the first 11 months this year had exceeded 110,000 tonnes. Meanwhile, the capacity utilization rate of Xinyu Steel palletizing plant in the January to November period averaged at 93.2%YoY up by 5.4%YoY.
