According to Mr Liu Deqin Financial Director of the scientific and technological project of Yinggang Yitong Camshaft Company which is located at Wusheng in Sichuan province "60% of the construction of the project infrastructure has been finished."

Mr Liu said the company has invested a total of CNY 130 million by the end of December 2009 and is trying to ensure official operation this March.

The mill introduced casting, process and heat treatment lines this time by adopting advanced technique and equipment, with a view to building up a classic camshaft production base.

The construction now in process is the first phase which, once concludes, will bring a production value of CNY 500 million and offer 1500 jobs.
