It is reported that Zenith Iron and Steel Group has clinched a strategic cooperation agreement with China Iron and Steel Research In statute Group aiming to launch Iron and Steel Research Institute Application Base in Changzhou.

In recent years, Zenith Steel has developed himself from a 0.06 million tonnes per year steel mill to a 5.5 million tonnes per year national steel group with CNY 18 billion assets nowadays. As predicted, the company is likely to break CNY 15 billion of produce & sale revenue in the H1 of this year. Moreover, the new plan with the total investment of CNY 12 billion will entirely start working in August which has introduced Siemens and SMS Siemag etc some intentional advanced production line, focusing on developing Two-high products. The group will realize 10 million tonnes per year with CNY 100 billion of sales income and CNY 60 billion of output value after it completes.

Along with the increasing steel demands in energy saving construction, high speed railways and nuclear station construction, Zenith Steel has to speed up to produce fine quality construction steel and special steel from now on.
