Mr KC Venugopal minister of state for power at a function organised to launch a energy conservation program in Thiruvananthapuram said that a saving of 12,000 MW has been projected during the 12th Plan period by implementing energy efficiency programs in the country including the Perform, Achieve and Trade program.

Speaking on the occasion, the governor of Kerala, Mr MOH Farook emphasized on implementation of energy conservation program in the state.
