1 killed and 9 injured in bomb blast in coal mining village in Meghalaya
PTI reported that a bomb exploded in a labour camp in a remote coal mining village in Jaintia Hills district in Meghalaya, killing a young man and injuring nine miners.
The police said the blast took place at Rasong village under Khliehriat sub division at around 2 AM, leaving a one foot deep crater at the site.
Police did not rule out involvement of militants or mine owners in the blast and said a formal inquiry would reveal the truth.
