PTI reported that police quoted 5 laborers were injured in an explosion at a steel factory at Jasodarpur area in Kotdwar town of Pauri district this afternoon.

As per report, 5 laborers were injured in the explosion, which occurred at Siddhabali Sugar Private Limited. The injured have been admitted to a government hospital where the condition of three of them is stated to be serious.

Senior administrative and police officials have reached the spot. The cause of the explosion was not immediately known.
