The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation has allotted 365 acres of land for expansion of Integrated Steel Project of SBQ Steels in its industrial park at Ankalapatturu in Nellore.

As per report Mr BP Acharya CMD of APIIC & CEO of APInvest formally presented allotment letter to the representatives of SBQ Steels at ‘SUMINFRA 2009’ organised by Confederation of Indian Industry in Chennai.

According to a release, the projected investment in the project was INR 2,250 crore and over 12,500 jobs were likely to be created.

Allotment Letter was also handed over to Rockon Construction of Howthorne Group for 10 acres in APIIC Industrial Park at Mambattu in SPS Nellore district, with a projected investment of INR 100 crore.

Mr B Sam Bob principal secretary, department of industries and commerce government of Andhra Pradesh handed out the allotment letters to five industrial units in Sri City SEZ, involving a total investment of Rs 500 crore.
