AREVA’s Transmission and Distribution division has won an order from Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited for turnkey design and construction of a 400 kV Air Insulated Substation at Nawada, near Faridabad.

The value of the order is approximately IR 760 million and is part of a World Bank funded Project for HVPNL. AREVA T&D is already involved in construction of HVPNL's 400 kV Substation in Kirori near Hissar.

The order involves supply of 2 x 315 MVA Power Transformers, and High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Instrument Transformers and other T&D Products.

This order also helps reinforce the confidence that HVPNL has in AREVA T&D’s ability to successfully execute such projects, which are of strategic importance to the state.”
