Adhunik Cement, a JV between Adhunik Group and MSP Group, intends to increase its production capacity to 10 million tonne in a span of few years.

The company plans to invest INR 250 crore for setting up a plant of 1.6 million tonne capacity near Guwahati. It has already signed an MoU with the Assam Government and purchased land at Sonapur in Kamrup district for this purpose.

Cement plants are also likely to come up in West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
