Adhunik Group of Industries is negotiating with three firms to sell about 200 MW power in long term contracts from its under development 540 MW power project in Jharkhand.

Mr Arun Kedia CFO of Adhunik Group told Reuters that Adhunik Power & Natural Resources a unit of Adhunik Metaliks is also planning to set up two 1,200 MW projects each in Bihar and Chhattisgarh, and would expand its 540 MW project at Jamshedpur to 1,080 MW.

He said that the group is also scouting for iron ore and coal mines to ramp up its mining business and to meet internal requirements.
