The Aditya Birla Group’s cement production for the period April to October 2009 has moved up by 18.36% at 20.850 million tonne as against 17.616 million tonne during April to October 2008. Dispatches moved up 18.03 per cent at 206.84 lakh mt in April to October 2009 as against 17.524 million tonne in the corresponding period last year.

Cement production for the month of October 2009 rose by 12.46% at 2.934 million tonne. Dispatches are up by 11.13% at 2.819 million tonne over October 2008.
