Aditya Birla cement shipments up by 21.7 pct

Reuters cited India's Aditya Birla Group saying that cement shipments in June increased 21.7% to 3.14 million tonne.
The company in a statement said production increased 20.6% to 3.08 million tonne. The group's cement business includes flagship Grasim Industries and unit UltraTech Cement with a combined production capacity of 42 million tonne a year.
