Aditya Birla update for cement production in May

The Aditya Birla Group’s cement production for the period April to May 2010 has moved up by 6.18% at 6.816 million tonnes as against 6.420 million tonnes during April to May 2009. Dispatches rose by 5.89% at 6.733 million tonnes in April to May 2010 vis a vis 6.359 million tonnes in the corresponding period last year.
Cement production for the month of May 2010 is higher by 5.61% at 3.421 million tonnes and dispatches, at 3.353 million tonnes by 5.59% over May 2009.
