Alstom Projects India Ltd’s board of directors on September 15 has given its final approval to the amalgamation of Alstom Holdings (India) Ltd (AHIL) a group company, with itself.

The appointed date for amalgamation shall be April 1st 2011, or such other date as the board of the company and AHIL may approve.

The board has approved the share swap ratio of 10:41, that is, 10 shares of APIL for every 41 shares of AHIL as on the record date.
