
ET reported that logistics player Arshiya International has partnered with TATA Group company TATA BlueScope Steel to create warehousing infrastructure at country's first Free Trade and Warehousing Zone.
The FTWZ developed by Arshiya at Panvel near Mumbai will have five buildings being built by TATA BlueScope with an advanced roofing system that is warranted for 10 years leak proof performance.
Apart from the Panvel FTWZ, Arshiya is developing similar facilities in Khurja near Delhi, Nagpur, Chennai and Haldia.
Each FTWZ is typically around 200 acres in size and according to a senior company official, requires investments of up to INR 700 crore.
