State promoted Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd is considering setting up a project to manufacture 150,000 tonne per annum of propylene oxide and its downstream products.

Addressing the listed company’s 38th annual general meeting held at Vadodara on Friday, its Chairman, Mr AK Joti said the proposed plant would manufacture propylene oxide and its downstream products such as propylene glycol and polyols with world renowned technologies.
