Binani Cement reported a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2009. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 6.73 times to INR 571.70 million from INR 84.90 million in the same quarter last year.

Meanwhile, net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 12.02% to INR 4,033.20 million while total income for the quarter rose 12.80% to INR 4,062.60 million when compared with the prior year period.
