Binani Cement posts 3 fold rise in net profit

Binani Cement net profit jumped over three fold to INR 101.14 crore in the quarter ended September 30th 2009 from INR 26.81 crore in the quarter ended September 30th 2008. Its net sales rose to INR 432.57 crore from INR 306.34 crore.
During the quarter, the company’s profitability has improved due to higher sales volume, better price realization and reduced cost of fuel.
