It is reported that Bisra Stone Lime Co Ltd has stopped production of limestone and dolomite in the state of Orissa following a direction from Orissa State Pollution Control Board over environmental concerns.

BSCL, a subsidiary of the Bird Group of Companies which is controlled by the Indian ministry of steel, has mining leases in Birmitrapur in the district of Sundargarh, Orissa.
