BL reported that the CITU affiliated Steel Employees’ Union staged a maha dharna in front of the administrative building of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Tuesday demanding 24% minimum guaranteed benefit and 46% fringe benefit to the VSP workers.

As per report, activists from TNTUC, DITU, USE, VSMS and VUSS also took part in the daylong dharna while other unions abstained.
